You will be automatically registered for the afternoon field exercises.

Competent Person Training is designed for all employees involved in trenching work, including job foremen, job superintendents, engineers, and any personnel involved in underground projects.

This workshop includes four hours of classroom instruction, student manual, and a certificate of completion, in addition to special extended afternoon field exercises that include evaluating open trenches using various protection systems, PLUS a mock inspection of a trench by Wyoming OSHA.

Fall Protection Awareness Training [17 remaining]

MSA offers an introduction to Safety at Heights through its 4-hour Fall Protection Awareness course. This course is designed for employees who are regularly required to work at height and who are supervised by the company’s Competent Person(s) under its fall protection program.

Construction Focus Four: Electrocution Hazards [8 remaining]

This course will help workers identify major electrocution hazards, describe different types of electrocution hazards, and how to protect themselves and others from them.

Competent Person for Fall Protection Equipment Inspection [19 remaining]

The Competent Person for Equipment Inspection course is designed for the fall protection equipment user or at-risk worker, as well as their supervisors and safety professionals. It is also designed for those in the tool room who may issue fall protection gear to others and are required to perform regular inspections.

This course will strengthen workers’ ability to identify common struck-by hazards, understand types of struck-by hazards, and how to protect themselves from struck-by hazards. In addition, it will cover employer requirements to protect workers from struck-by hazards.
